Beauty and San Francisco seem to go hand in hand. So, don´t forget your camera, era, era eh, eh......:-)

Before you get to San Francisco stop by the Point Bonita Lighthouse, it´s definitely worth it! The Lighthouse is located just across the Golden Gate Bridge and the views of the Golden Gate Bay and Golden Gate Bridge are breathtaking. The third lighthouse in California was built in 1855 and is still active and in use by the Coast Guard.

The lighthouse is a popular area with a small parking lot, but the adjacent Marin Headlands is a great place to explore around. So, find a spot near the visitor center and enjoy the stunning hike over to the lighthouse and beyond. You’ll need to bring your own water, snacks and a few layers for the outing. The only restroom available in this area is next to the parking lot!

After walking down the hill, the trail comes to a large hill which you have to pass through to reach the lighthouse and enjoy the narrow trail with views, but it´s San Francisco so good luck with that :-).

The Golden Gate Bay

Stay tuned! :-)

XOXO Danielle
